Peanut Butter Reindeer Cookies

These are the cutest and easiest last minute Christmas treat that is both flourless and dairy free. These come together in less than 30 minutes and your family and friends will love them!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter

  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • GF pretzels

  • DF chocolate chips

  • Red and yellow peanut m&ms (or any type of candy that is red or yellow, check to make sure it's GF or DF if needed!)

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Mix together the peanut butter, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla extract and let sit for 10 minutes. Don't skip this part, it is important!

  3. In the meantime, cut the pretzels so they look like antlers (they can be messy & still look great, if you’re short on time you can just use the whole pretzel).

  4. Spoon 1 tbsp size portions of the dough onto the pan, slightly pushing the dough down into a circle.

  5. Bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the top of the cookies turn golden brown. Make sure to have the pretzels, chocolate chips, and the red and yellow candies ready to go at this point.

  6. Right after removing from the oven, place the chocolate chips as the eyes, the red or yellow candy as the nose, and the pretzels as the antlers.

  7. After allowing to set for just a couple minutes, move to a cooling rack to cool completely.

  8. Enjoy! These can be saved in an air tight container for 3-4 days.
