Seasoned Homemade French Fries

French Fries are one of my all time favorite food! I was so excited when I realized that the homemade version is even better than getting them from the store or many restaurants! These have a simple but yummy seasoning and come out crispy every time. This recipe is also naturally gluten and dairy free. Make sure to serve with your favorite dipping sauce and you’ll be in heaven!

Ingredients:

  • 3 large russet potatoes

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1/2 tsp pepper

  • 1 tbsp nutritional yeast

Optional:

  • favorite dipping sauce

  • Parsley for topping

Directions:

  1. Chop the potatoes the long way making each fry roughly 1/2 inch wide. After chopping them, soak in cold water for 15 to 20 minutes.

  2. Drain the fries and pat them dry with a paper towel.

  3. Spread the fries out on a large baking sheet in an even layer. If things stick to your pan easily, use parchment paper.

  4. Mix the salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and pepper in a small bowl.

  5. Drizzle fries with the olive oil and sprinkle with seasoning.

  6. Sprinkle with nutritional yeast, and using a spatula or your hands, mix together until the potatoes are evenly coated.

  7. Bake at 425 degrees F for roughly 40 minutes.

  8. Remove and top with parsley if desired, and enjoy!
